Marcel supports companies by implementing design in their organisation. He is a good relator, a strategic thinker and supports your organization with individual knowledge.

 

He completed his design studies at KISD (University of Applied Sciences in Cologne, Germany) with a specialization in Design Management in 2006. 

 

He then moved to Munich and worked for the BMW Group in the area of Brand Management and Corporate Identity for two years. 

 

He is an assistant professor and doctoral student in the department of Industrial Design in the field of Design Theory for Methodology, Planning and Strategy since 2009 at the Wuppertal University.

Additionally he studied Organisation and Marketing at Schumpeter School of Business and Economics, Wuppertal, related to his doctoral thesis on cultural diversity in design processes. In 2012 he founded Sensity together with Guido Wolff.

 

Marcel is an Alumni of the German Merit Foundation, registered »Conseil en Design« in Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, official councel for Design in Rhineland Palatinate and a jury member of »Luxembourg Design Awards« and a former jury member of »Design Preis Rheinland Pfalz«.

 

In cooperation with yellow-design, Cologne, and as an assistant professor as well as a free consultant he worked for global brands such as BMWMINIRolls-Royce or Deutsche Telekom on research and experience-related projects.
