Giacomo is an Italian designer based in Luxembourg. The essence of his design practice lies in his participative approach to collaborating with partners. Giacomo trained as a product designer at the Politecnico di Milano and graduated in Social Design (Master in Design) at Design Academy Eindhoven. After completing his studies in the Netherlands, he moved to Belgium, where he undertook various multidisciplinary projects for cultural organizations such as Z33, Province Limburg and Flanders in Shape. During the same period, he also gave guest lectures in Communication & Media Design at the LUCA School of Arts. His works have been exhibited at various events such as London Design Week, Salone del Mobile and Dutch Design Week.
In 2014, he moved to Luxembourg, where he has been working as a design consultant on a strategic and operative level. While working in this context, he has explored how design can be a tool for innovation and social change. Rather than designing physical objects, he co-designs products and services that empower people, social groups and organizations. Joining Sensity Luxembourg has given Giacomo the opportunity to undertake and develop projects in different fields, from conceptual work to products and visual design.
