Stefanie Ellwanger Consultant / Design Strategy & Social Research
Stefanie combines a qualified knowledge of social research strategies with a design-oriented background. After studying design at the Cologne International School of Design (KISD), she started her professional career as a research assistant at KISD and as a designer for several design agencies. In order to explore the meaning of design and its social implications, she then started her Master course in Culture and Society at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
After graduating, Stefanie worked as a Design Researcher, where she undertook highly organized and creative research in order to create innovative solutions for national and international companies, organizations and communities. She identifies people's needs with an aim to help create services and products which are user-centered and which make the intended social impact. Besides working for Sensity, Stefanie undertakes empirical research projects. She is passionate about life stories and everyday objects, especially about the way how people and things interact.
